Selecting a Chat Server​

When using IM for the first time, you must select a Weline Pro device as your chat server.

  • Each chat server runs on one Weline Pro device. All bound users on that device can chat with each other.
  • Weline Pro does not automatically create accounts for all bound users to protect privacy. To chat, users must connect to the same server.
  • Each server is independent, like having your own private WeChat server at home/office. Cross-server chat is not supported.
  • If a device does not support IM, you will see This device does not support chat services in red. This may be due to outdated firmware or insufficient hardware performance.
  • An account can connect to multiple servers, but only one server at a time. You can switch servers anytime to view other messages.

Switching Chat Servers​

  • Only one server can be active at a time.
  • The current server is marked with a check (√).
  • The list shows only bound Weline Pro devices that support IM.
